Anna Joyce (Love) Thompson

Anna Joyce Thompson, 84 of Nortonville passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018.  Born February 11, 1933, to the late Roy and Irene (Berry) Love of Nortonville.  She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and a retired school teacher.  She enjoyed time spent visiting with her family and friends, and loved anything purple.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Thompson; and her son, Danny Lee Thompson.

Survived by her daughter, Cindy Nunn of Louisville; grandchildren, Miranda Nunn Richerson, Christopher Nunn, and Angie Lee; great-grandchildren, Emelyn and Abigail Richerson, Courtney and Jessica Lee; daughter-in-law, Cindy Tyson; and sister, Connie Cavender of GA.

Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Thursday at 12:00 P.M. with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating.  Burial to follow in New Salem Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
