Barbara Ann (Jones) Shumate

Barbara Ann Jones Shumate, 58 of Madisonville passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Baptist Health Hospital.  Born June 12, 1959, to the late David Harold Jones and the late Dorothy Jarvis Jones.  She enjoyed time with her grandchildren and family and her puppy.

Preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Shumate; sister, Maxine Baldwin; three brothers, Roger Furgerson, Darrell Jones, and Carl Scott.

Survived by her daughter, Tiffany (Micheal) Bryant; two grandchildren, Steven and Samantha Jones; three brothers, Ezra Simms, Rocky Jones, and Anthony Jones; and three sisters, Helen Cissna, Jean Baldwin, and Trudy McElwain.

Memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at Union Crossroads General Baptist Church in Nortonville with Bro. Barry Noe officiating.  A private burial will take place at a later date.
