Betty Florence Queen, 80 years of Nortonville passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, at her home. Born September 27, 1936, to the late Clayton and Sadie Blain Cornell. She enjoyed her family, reading, flowers and bird watching. She was retired from GE.
Preceded in death by her husband, Appy Queen; daughter, Priscilla Huddleston; son, Jimmy Queen; and sister, Sue Lee Curneal.
Survived by three daughters, Teresa (Doug) Perkins of Nortonville, Lavail (Bill) Lear of Henderson, Pam Wilson of Nortonville, and Lori Queen of Madisonville; three sons, Ray (Randi Dawn) Browning of Anton, Melvin (Alecia) Browning of Calvert City, and Jeff (Kim) Queen of Madisonville; 21 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Clayton (Onie) Cornell of Nortonville.
Service will be held on Tuesday at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville at 11:00AM with Bro. Larry Phaup officiating. Burial to follow in New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday 5:00PM - 8:00PM and after 9:00AM on Tuesday.
