Cleo Wayne Young

Cleo Wayne Young, 80 years of St. Charles passed away Friday, September 22, 2017, at Baptist Health Hospital.  Born September 6, 1937, to the late Archie Young and Stella Walker Young Haithcoat.  He spent many years farming, tending to his cattle and raising a big garden for his family.  He enjoyed counting the hummingbirds that came to his porch to feed and a quick visit from his family was always welcomed.

Preceded in death by his wife, Sue Cropper Young; sister, Violet Wadlington; and brother, Joe Young.

Survived by his children, Sheila (Bobby) Bandy of Nortonville, Eddie (Denise) Young of White Plains, Ronnie (Tammy) Young and Daniel (Stormy) Young all of St. Charles; 8 grandchildren, Ryan (Jamie) Bandy, Amy (Jason) Stephens, Andrea Hulsey, Tiffiany (Jason) Heggen, Grant (Noelle) Young, Trevor (Chrissy) Young, Colter Young and Tavia Young; 11 great-grandchildren, Avery, Talon, Brinley, Emily, Olivia, Austin, Carter, Rachael, Tucker, Tessa and Tinzley; 2 sisters, Marcie Lee and Nancy (Joe) Workman; and 4 brothers, Milburn (Shirley) Young, Clifford (Melinda) Young, Morris and Johnny Haithcoat.

Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home Sunday, September 24, at 2:00PM.  Burial to follow in Gilland Ridge Cemetery in St. Charles.  Visitation will begin at 12:00PM.
