Dylan Russell Whitaker

Dylan Russell Whitaker, 23 of White Plains, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016. He was born April 9, 1992, to Darin and Anna Kay (Smith) Whitaker of White Plains. He was a diesel mechanic, and was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Dylan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all of his animals. 
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathleen and Jamie Smith, and Lana Gail Whitaker. 
Survived by his parents; his brother, Jacob (Brittney) Whitaker of White Plains; grandfather, Jim Whitaker of White Plains; aunts and uncle, Sharon Smiley of Madisonville, and Debbie (Johnny) Pryor of White Plains. 
Services are 12 noon Thursday at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Brother Toby DeHay officiating. Burial follows in Concord Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday. Pallbearers are Holden Whitaker, Robert Carlton, Shane Linville, James Blixt, Chris Martin, Dennis Winters, and Bryan Faulk. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Hopkins County Humane Society. Condolences may be made to the family at www.bandyfuneralhome.com.
