Eston Eugene (Gene) Key

Eston Eugene "Gene" Key, 69 years of Owensboro passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional.  Born December 7, 1947, to the late Eston L. Key and Roenna (Moore) Blankenship.  Gene was of Baptist faith and an Army veteran, and he loved his family. 

Preceded in death by his father; wife, Bambi Key; and sister, LaData Blankenship.

Survived by his two sons, David (Jennifer) Key of Owensboro, and Cliff (Chris) Key of Dawson Springs; stepchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Key, Bengy Key, Jr., and Brandi (Jeff) Wilson Embry all of Owensboro;  14 grandchildren; mother, Roenna (Lionel) Blankenship of White Plains; two sisters, Judy Keys of GA, and LaQuata (Terry) Jones of White Plains; and three brothers, Johnny Key of White Plains, Bengy (Nadia) Key of Bremen, and Rengy (Debbie) Key of White Plains.

Service will be held Tuesday, March 21, at 1:00PM at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Donnie Neal officiating.  Burial to follow in Concord Cemetery in White Plains.  Visitation will be after 11:00AM.  Pallbearers are Kyler Key, Cody Key, Hunter Key, Miquel Moreira, Brendan Key, and Brandon Key.
