George Everitt Knight

George Everitt Knight, 68 of Nebo passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at his home with his family.  Born August 22, 1948, to the late George and Lena (Garrett) Knight in Dalton.  He was of Baptist faith and worked as a coal miner and a truck driver.  He loved his family and enjoyed old cars.

Preceded in death his parents; and brother, Tommy Knight.

Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary (Howton) Knight; son, Joe (Amanda) Knight of Bremen; three daughters, Teresa (James) Marshall of Nebo, Lisa (Steve) Gatewood of Madisonville, and Kim (Jr.) Camplin of Crofton; 8 grandchildren, Jessica, Kayla, Hope, Logan, Noah, Jacob, Halbert, and Maggye; great-granddaughter, Karleigh; 4 brothers, Eddie, Paul, Floyd, and Larry Knight; and 4 sisters, JoAnn Stewart, Louise Delocah, Phyllis Edmondson, and Martha Crunk.

Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Saturday at 11:00A.M. with Rev. Joe Knight and Rev. Tommy Kidd officiating.  Burial to follow in Hight Cemetery in White Plains.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday 5 P.M. - 8 P.M. and after 9 A.M. Saturday.
