Harry Wayne Whitfield

Harry Wayne Whitfield, 76 of Sacramento passed away Friday, July 28, 2017, at his home.  Born May 24, 1941, in White Plains to the late Ross and Annie (Carty) Whitfield.  He was a member of the White Plains United Methodist Church and owner of Whitfield Auto Sales.  He was a family man, an avid golfer, a big UK fan and a musician.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by grandson, Mathew Perez.

Survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Rochelle Whitfield; two sons, Dennis (Nancy) Whitfield of Berthoud, CO, and Trent Whitfield of Columbia, SC; 3 stepsons, Ted and Dave Perez of IL and Don Perez of IN; 13 grandchildren, Brooke, Andy, Luke, Cortney, Clint, Collin, Rachel, Heather, Nick, Andrea, Jeremy, Joshua, and Paige; 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nan (Bill) Herring of White Plains and Assunta (Jess) Bowles of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews; and 2 loved cats, Jojo & Barney.

Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Saturday, August 5, at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. J.D. Graddy and Bro. John Shoulta officiating.  Burial to follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains.  Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M. and beginning at 9 A.M. Saturday.  Pallbearers will be Clint, Andy, Luke, and Cortney Whitfield, Brooke Cooley, and Heather Colanto.  Honorary pallbearers are Fred Fox, Earl Hibbs, Layton Sumner, Roger Evans, Bobby James, and Howard "Peewee" Revlett.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky.  Online condolences may be made at www.bandyfuneralhome.com.
