Lindel Ray Winstead

Lindel Ray Winstead, 71 of Earlington, passed away April 12, 2016, at Baptist Health Madisonville.  Born April 15, 1944, to the late Boyd and Ruby (Harrison) Winstead in Central City, KY.  Lindel was in the Army for 12 years and received several medals.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Winstead.   

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Shively Winstead; son, Eric Winstead; daughter, Hope Young; brothers, Marion and William Winstead; and sisters, Carol, Diana, Tina, and Jackie Winstead.

Memorial service: 4 p.m. Saturday at Earlington United Methodist Church.  Burial:  5 p.m. Monday at Shyflat cemetery in Dawson Springs, Hopkins County Honor Guard to provide military rites.
