Londa Dean Hight, 82 of Madisonville passed away July 30, 2016, at Baptist Health Hospital. Born September 5, 1933, to the late Elbert and Goldie Duncan. Dean was retired from Hopkins County Board of Education Food Service and she was a dedicated member of New Salem Baptist Church for 64 years.
Preceded in death by her husband, Carmon Hight; two sisters, Barbara Ann Duncan and Dorothy Byrum; and her brother, Wallace Duncan.
Survived by her son, Michael Hight of Madisonville; daughter, Pamela (Kenneth) Todd of Madisonville; granddaughter, Carmon Todd; and four sisters, Nina Almon, Carolyn Faulk, Linda Scott, and Rita Chadwick; two brothers, Wayne and Randy Duncan; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at New Salem Baptist Church in Nortonville on Wednesday at 11:00AM with Brothers Roy Finley and Steve Rutherford officiating. Burial to follow in New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Tuesday from 5PM-8PM and at the church on Wednesday after 9AM. Pallbearers will be Terry and Chris Duncan, David Taylor, Ricky Hight, Jon Moore, and Jimmy Goff. The family request donations to Gideon Bibles in lieu of flowers.
