Martha Raye (Durham) Brasher

Martha Raye Brasher, 76 of Crofton, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Baptist Health Madisonville.  She was born November 23, 1939, to the late Hershal Durham and the late Maymie (Hicks) Durham Clayton of Madisonville.  She was a homemaker and was a member of the Crofton Assembly of God church.

Preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Wayne Brasher and Roger Dale Brasher, both of Crofton; granddaughter, Christina Wagoner of Crofton; and her sister, Judy Massey of Madisonville.

Survived by four daughters, Diann (Danny) McGar of Hopkinsville, Penny (Bobby) Wagoner of Crofton, Susan (Kenneth) Ebersole of London, KY; and Charlotte Brasher of Madisonville; two sons, William (Sandra) Brasher of Crofton, and Ricky (Donna) Brasher of Madisonville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joye Brown and Charlotte Gamblin of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at 11:00a.m. at Ridgetop Cemetery in Crofton with Bro. Russell Kline officiating.  Visitation at the graveside after 10:15a.m.
