Morris Eldon Bandy

Morris Eldon Bandy, 80 years of Greenville passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017, at his farm.  Born July 26, 1936, to the late Shelby and Bessie (Heltsley) Bandy of Greenville.  He was a member of Church of Christ.  Morris was a family man that loved time with his kids and grandkids.  He also enjoyed working with his cows and on the farm daily.

Preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, James, Adrian, and Harold Bandy.

Survived by his wife, Carolyn Hill Bandy; son, Steve (Dawn) Bandy of MI; two daughters, Pam (Gary) Stephenson of AR, and Sarah (Jeff) Jenkins of TX; 8 grandchildren, Daniel, Derek, Shelby, Hayden, Kennedy, Cassidy, Beau, and Madelyn; 2 great-grandchildren, Fletcher and Jones; and his sister, Shirley (Bob) Gardner of Greenville.

Service will be held at Cherry Grove Church on Wednesday at 2:00PM with Pam Stephenson and Steve Bandy officiating.  Burial to follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 5:00PM til 8:00PM and after 1:00PM on Wednesday.  Pallbearers are Daniel, Derek and Gary Stephenson, Dandy and Ryan Bandy, and Jeff Jenkins.  In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Cherry Grove Cemetery Fund.
