Myrtie Marie (Lantrip) Vandiver

Myrtie Marie Vandiver, 97 of Mortons Gap passed away October 21, 2017, at Baptist Health Hospital.  Born February 8, 1920, to the late Otis and Myrtie (Whitfield) Lantrip of Nortonville.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mortons Gap, and she owned a hardware store with her husband before retiring.  

Preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Vandiver; sisters, Lottie King and Jean Collins; and brothers, Lowell, Oral Lee, Amon, Toby, and Wilmer.

Survived by her sons, Haryl (Lynda) Vandiver and Daryl (Betty) Vandiver all of Madisonville; 4 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Bonnie Adkins of Arizona, Margie Shelton of Indiana and Judy of Virginia; and brother,  Gary Lantrip of Florida.

Service was held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nortonville on Monday, October 23, 2017.
