Nell Pauline (Gamblin) Sherman

Nell Pauline Sherman, 87 of Nortonville passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016, at Baptist Health Hospital.  Born November 19, 1928, to the late Etna and Iler (Fork) Gamblin of Nortonville.  She was a member of New Abundant Life Fellowship church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Roland Sherman; son, Larry Sherman; one great-granddaughter; three sisters; and eight brothers.
Survived by six daughters, Loretta (Jerald) Stillwell of Nortonville, Carolyn (Jim) Whitaker of WA, Betty Cavanaugh of Nortonville, Patricia Sherman of OH, Candy (Steve) Salmons of OH, and Rebecca (David) Tracy of Paducah; three sons, Kenny (Verna) Sherman of WA, Charles Sherman of Nortonville, and Paul (Nellie) Sherman of Millport; and 86 grand/great-grand/great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Sister Cathy Pleasant officiating.  Burial to follow in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville.  Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
