Daniel Thomas Guasp, 22 of Nortonville, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Vanderbilt Hospital. Born August 30, 2001, to Ken Guasp and the late Erin Elaine Aldridge Trout of Nortonville. He was a graduate of Hopkins County Central High School, and he worked as a roofer for John Curtis Roofing. He found his passion for the rodeo while in the 8th grade when he began the high school rodeo circuit. Once he graduated, he was able to move to the pro-circuit bull-riding. Over the last 9 years Daniel has enjoyed traveling with the rodeo throughout Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. He loved being around people and getting to spend time with people that shared his passion.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Carlston & Nora Bell Aldridge, and Gene & Anna Fuller.
Survived by his grandparents, Johnnie & Regina Aldridge of Nortonville; sisters, Michaela Guasp (Wesley Steward) of Nortonville and Sidda Guasp (Michael Pendley) of Madisonville; father, Ken Guasp; nephews, Westin Thomas Guasp, Braeden Titus Steward and Zaid Thomas Pendley; and girlfriend, Hannah Hines of Crofton.
Service will be held Thursday at 1:00pm at Union Crossroads General Baptist Church in Nortonville. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday at Bandy Funeral Home from 5:00pm - 7:00pm and Thursday at the church after 11:00am until service time.
