Albert "Red" Henry Reynolds, 75 of Madisonville passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Baptist Health Hospital. Born September 26, 1943, to the late Thomas and Hazel (Curtis) Reynolds. He belonged to the Madison Avenue Holiness Church and was a coal miner much of his life. He loved spending time putting out and working in his garden and loved sharing what it produced. He also loved to go fishing and spending time on the water. Above all he loved time with his family.
Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ilene (Furgerson) Reynolds; sisters, Josephine Lee, Margaret Young, Irene Reynolds, Mary Bowers, and Allie Mae Vandiver; and brothers, Tom Reynolds and J.C. Tyson.
Survived by his wife, Mary O. Reynolds; children, Andy (Melissa) Reynolds of Colorado, and Lorrie (Josh) Bloyd of Harrodsburg, James Dewayne (Yvonne) Rickard of Lexington, Nikki Rickard of Cape Cod, Jonna (Robert) Buchanan of Hanson and Darin (Nicole) Carnal of Picayune, Mississippi; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Bro. Mike Spears officiating. Burial to follow in New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and after 9:00 AM Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Allen, Chase Allen, Trevor Allen, Benjamin Rickard, David Reynolds and Mike Spears.
