Beverly June (Whitfield) Hicklin

Beverly June Whitfield Hicklin, 63 of Nortonville passed away Friday, January25, 2019, at her home under the care of her devoted husband and Baptist Health Hospice.  Born November 7, 1955, to the late Lewis and Violet (Heltsley) Whitfield of Nortonville.  She was a dedicated wife, wonderful mother, and nurturing grandmother.  Long time member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  She spent her life serving her Lord, her family and her friends and was a great example of Christian love. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Donald Whitfield. 

Survived by her husband of 41 years, Edward Hicklin; daughters, Amanda (Bo) Phelan of Owensboro and Laura (Troy) Anderson of Madisonville; six grandchildren, Will, Violet and Jackson Phelan and Owen, Calvin and Ethan Anderson; three sisters, Hilda Fox, Martha (Roy) Basham and Wanda (Dwight) Allen; brother, Darel (Vada) Whitfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, January 27, at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Daniel Vandiver and Lynn Groves officiating.  Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Bandy Funeral Home Saturday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and at the church on Sunday after 12:00 P.M.  Pallbearers are Troy Anderson, Bo Phelan, Bobby White, Harold Bean, Travis Allen and Mark Bates.  Honorary Pallbearers are Will Phelan and Owen Anderson.
