Carl Leslie Brasher, 80 of White Plains passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at his home. Born July 15, 1939, to the late Hershel and Mollie Zell (Sorrells) Brasher of Nortonville. He was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church in Madisonville and he worked as a plumber for many years. Carl had a love for electric trains and watching a good western. He was a BB gun enthusiast and the 1972 Kentucky Freestyle Archery Champion. He was proud of his family and loved spending time with them.
Preceded in death by his wife, Opal (Sorrells) Brasher; grandson, Austin Nance; sister, Nellie Johnson; brothers, Hershel, Danny, Sonny, Arthur, Gary and Carlos Brasher.
Survived by his wife, Judy (Oates) Brasher; children, Carl Allen (Carolyn) Brasher, Kerry Wayne Brasher, Marty Christopher Brasher, Karen Sue (Thomas) Sutton and Timothy (Sarita) Brasher; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and brother, David Brasher.
Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Tim Mason and Bro. Jeff Brasher officiating. Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon at the funeral home.
