Coy Devlon Solise, 62 of Mortons Gap passed away Monday, May 21, 2018, at Methodist Hospital. Born May 15, 1956, to the late Clayton Solise and Wynetona Barnes Welte. He was the director of Kid City at Lifepoint Church in White Plains where he was known as the "Van Man" because of his important roll in the van ministry there. He enjoyed the simple life of gardening, hunting, fishing and being in nature.
Preceded in death by his father, Clayton Solise; and two brothers, Troy and Chad Solise.
Survived by his mother, Wynetona Welte; three children, Dylan, Lindsey and Michaela; two grandchildren; sister, Panda (Rob) Rodriguez of Florida; brother, Preston (Karen) Solise of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville Friday evening at 7:00 P.M. with Bro. Troy Doster officiating. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Lifepoint Church in Coy Solise's memory for a children's ministry that he was excited about.
