David Lee Hazlip, 57 of Earlington passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at NHC Healthcare in Madisonville. He was born Jan. 9, 1961 in Dixon, Illinois to Leland and Lucille (Irvin) Hazlip. David served his country for four years in the Navy, retired from Bremner Food Group in Princeton and was a faithful member of Union Crossroads General Baptist Church in Nortonville. He loved fishing and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Hazlip and mother in law, Melba McGregor.
Along with both parents David is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kim Hazlip; sister, Kim Rowe from Illinois; father in law, Pate McGregor of Mortons Gap; sisters in law, Debbie (Michael) Addison of Sevierville, TN and Dana (Timothy) Trimble of Mortons Gap; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 am at Bandy Funeral Home, Nortonville with Bro. Leon Smith officiating. Burial will be immediately following in Union Crossroads Cemetery. Visitation is Friday 5-8 pm and Saturday after 9 am at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Emily Trimble, Braxton Addison, Larry Merideth, Tim Trimble, Bruce Verschueren, W.H. Rolley and honorary pallbearer Pate McGregor.
