Eliston "Jack" Saint, 93 of Nortonville passed away on Monday February 25, 2019, at his home. Born June 5, 1925, to the late Eliston and Gladys (Dillingham) Saint of Nortonville. He was of Methodist faith and retired coal miner from Peabody Coal Co. and a member of UMWA District 23. He enjoyed building things, operating heavy equipment and drawing caricatures. More than anything, Jack loved spending time with his family on "Saint Hill".
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Faye Pollard Saint; and brother, Bill Saint.
Survived by his sons, Robert (Kim) Saint of Uniontown and Kenny (Kaye) Saint of Nortonville; five grandchildren, Rob (Kristy) Saint, Melanie (Chuck) McElroy, Dylan (Amber) Saint, Kristi (Mike) Truesdale and Kelly (Graeme) Anderton; ten great-grandchildren, Kelly Elizabeth and Jonathan Truesdale, Paige and Peyton Saint, Morgan and Luke McElroy, Isaac and Sarah Anderton, Kenley and Rylee Saint; and two brothers, David (Marilyn) Saint of Beaver Dam and Jim Saint of Nortonville.
Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home on Thursday at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Don Gabbard officiating. Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Peyton Saint, Luke McElroy, Isaac Anderton, Rob Saint, Dylan Saint, Billy Saint, David Saint and Honorary Pallbearer is Jonathan Michael Truesdale.
