Elmo Williams

January 8, 1937 ~ January 7, 2018 (age 80)

Elmo Williams, 80 of White Plains passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at his home.  Born January 8, 1937, to the late Hosia and Jenny (Vincent) Williams of Bards Hill.  Known by family and friends as "Bubby" and known in the coal mines as "Mo".  He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed having fun picking and aggravating, but he was a good sport when on the receiving end of a good prank too.  He spent as much time fishing and camping as he could.  He loved and appreciated his children and grandchildren and he had a big heart for his friends.  The family is thankful for Dr. Lou Ann and nurse Angie for the quality care that they provided.

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley Eastwood Williams; infant daughter, Ilene Williams; son-in-law, Roger Majors; brother, Kelly Williams; and sister, Louise Matheny.

Survived by his children, Mike (Ginger) Williams, Serina Majors, Lawrence (Gina) Williams, Lynn (Wally) Cobb, Christopher (Tamika) Williams, and Shelly Robinette; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home at a later date with Bro. Wally Cobb officiating.  Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains.  Visitation was held on Thursday from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
