Jimmy Russell Sherrill

Jimmy Russell Sherrill, 77 of Beulah passed away at his home Monday, April 30, 2018.  Born August 2, 1940, to the late Howard and Lillie (Murray) Sherrill of Dawson Springs.  He served in the army and was a retired coal miner.  He enjoyed doing body work and painting automobiles.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Leslie Copple; grandson, Tony Sherrill; brothers, Donald and Dale Sherrill; and sister, Gail Sherrill.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Betty Kathrine (Hallum) Sherrill; two daughters, Jackie (Steve) O'Brien and Jessie (David) Mitchell; son, Jimmy Sherrill, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Finetta McClaim and Margie Gooch; and brothers, Leon and Jerry Sherrill.

Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Thursday at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Tim Morgan officiating.  Burial to follow in New Beulah Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.  Pallbearers are Shawn Rudd, Austin Rudd, Jimmy Sherrill, Jr., Daron Woosley, Lovell Webb, Ronnie Hedgepath, Stephen Hedgepath and Joseph Gray.
