Lionel Howard Blankenship, 86 of White Plains passed away April 9, 2018, at Baptist Health Hospital. Born January 12, 1932, to the late William Forest and Iva (Law) Blankenship. He was of Pentecostal faith and was a retired carpenter. He loved watching old westerns in his free time.
Preceded in death by his wife, Roenna (Moore) Blankenship; daughter, LaData Rea Blankenship; son, Eston Eugene Key; and brother, Don Blankenship.
Survived by his children, LaQuata (Terry) Jones of White Plains, Judy (Janis) Key of Chattanooga, TN, Johnny Key of White Plains, Bengy (Nadia) Key of Bremen, and Rengy (Debra) Key of White Plains; sister, Elsie (Gene) Bagby of Elkton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Wednesday at 12:00 P.M. with Bengy Key officiating. Burial to follow in Concord Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
