Lola Oglesby Obituary

Lola Mae Oglesby, 87 of White Plains passed away at her home Monday, February 4, 2019.  Born July 18, 1931, to the late Rufus and Ina (Earle) Farmer.  She was a proud and loving member of White Plains Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed her life as a homemaker, quilting and sewing for her family, and she liked to clean.  Of course, her favorite thing was all of those grandbabies and spending time with them.

Preceded in death by her infant son, Mark Trenton Oglesby; sisters, Lorene Wimberly, Dorothy Wicks and Ina Rae Piper; and brother, Rufus "Jay Bird" Farmer.

Survived by her loving husband of 70 years, James Burton "Cateye" Oglesby; three daughters, Beverly (Darrell) Menser of St. Charles, Pam (Paul) Allen of White Plains and Gina (Mark) Larkins of White Plains; six grandchildren, Lance Menser, Ty Menser, Tiffany Baize, Tara Parker, Malcolm Larkins and Casey Larkins; ten great-grandchildren, Colten Cymantha, Lynsey, Leighjaye, Kayley, Kolby, Lorali, Samuel, Elizabeth and Sarah; and sister, Sue (Homer) Richey of White Plains.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
