Loretta Jean Stillwell, 71 of Nortonville passed away Friday, June 7, 2019, at Baptist Health Hospital. Born August 29, 1947, to the late Roland Rudolph Sherman and Nell Pauline (Gamblin) Sherman. She worked many years at the Circle K in Nortonville and always had a smile for her customers. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter to just name a few of her roles. She loved her family and time spent with them all.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Dale Sherman.
Survived by her husband of 52 years, Jerald Stillwell; son, Jerald (Crystal) Stillwell of St. Charles; daughter, Misty Latham of Nortonville; three grandchildren, William, Heather and Alyssa; two great-grandchildren, Americus and Bryce; three brothers, Kenny (Verna) Sherman of Washington, Charles Sherman of Nortonville and Paul (Nellie) Sherman of Muhlenberg; five sisters, Carolyn (James) Whitaker of Washington, Betty Cavanaugh of Madisonville, Patricia Pargeon of Ohio, Cynthia (Steve) Salmons of Ohio and Becky (David) Tracy of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home on Thursday at 1:00 P.M. with Mike Easley officiating. Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
