Murphy "Mickey" Washington Hall, Jr., 59 of Providence passed away Friday, September 13, 2019, at Baptist Health Hospital. Born April 23, 1960, to the late Murphy and Alice (Brown) Hall. He worked as a welder for West Kentucky Steel and in telecommunications and he was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed duck hunting and fishing or arrowhead hunting. He was also a craftsman, forging knives and carving knife handles, and making jewelry. His pride and joy were his children and grandchildren, and his close bond to all of his siblings.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Linda and her husband John Whitfield.
Survived by his son, Chris Hall of Oklahoma; daughter, Jenny (Adam) Harris of Manitou; grandsons, Chandler and Tyler Harris; sisters, Faye Baldwin-Dobkins (Dan) of Dickson, TN, Judy (Fred) Robinson of Princeton, Martha Moore of Helena, Alabama, and Sharon Fuqua of Princeton; brothers, Steve (Charlene) Hall of Cadiz, and Mark (Krystal) Hall of Birmingham, Alabama; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at Bandy Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday with Bro. Johnny Davis officiating. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Pallbearers will be his nephews: Jason, Jai, Johnnie, Freddie, Steven, Kevin, Bailey, Jon, Paul, Darien, and Ethan.
