Nora Belle Aldridge, 85 of Nortonville passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at home with family. Born December 3, 1933, to the late Paul and Arvana (Swan) Jarvis. She was a member of Crossroads General Baptist Church for approximately 70 years. She was known for her chicken and dumplings and if she knew you she sent your name in to the radio station for the anniversary and birthday give away.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Carlston "Cowboy" Aldridge; granddaughter, Erin Elaine Aldridge; brothers, Bill Jarvis, Gerald Jarvis and Donald Jarvis; and sister, Rosetta Camplin.
Survived by her son, Johnie (Regina) Aldridge of Nortonville; daughter, Janet Aldridge of Nortonville; 3 great-grandchildren, Michaela, Daniel and Sidda Leigh Guasp; brothers, Fred and Sonny Jarvis all of Nortonville; sisters, Betty Camplin of Mortons Gap and Alma Ray of Madisonville.
Service will be held on Tuesday at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Ricky Peterson officiating. Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. and on Tuesday after 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
