Randall C. Payne, Sr., 82, of Nortonville passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at NHC, Madisonville. He was born August 21, 1936, in Nortonville to the late Luther and Chlorine (Gamblin) Payne. He was a retired coal miner and member of UMWA District 23. He was also a member of New Good Hope Church, Nortonville.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine Payne; sisters, Connie Payne and Jodie Brooks; brothers, Daris, Ruford, Dennis and Donald Payne.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna Payne; daughter, Kitty (David) Himmelheber; sons, Bill (Kathy) Bowley, John (Vicky) Bowley, Tom Bowley, Pete (Sherry) Payne, and Randall (Angie) Payne; sisters, Mentha (Bobby) Justice, Sharron (Tommy) Adamson, Delilah Groves and Sondra (Wayne) Poole; brother, Gary Payne; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great, great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bandy Funeral Home, Nortonville, with Bro. Brad Payne officiating. Visitation begins at noon at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Brice Bowley, Benjamin Young, Joshua Young, Jonas Bowley, Jacob Payne and Gary Payne.
