Zelma Kathleen Gamblin, 92 of Nortonville passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Ridgewood Terrace Health Rehab. She was a cook at the hospital for 10 years and had been attending New Abundant Life Fellowship in Nortonville. She always enjoyed a visit from her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, William Goldman Gamblin; son, Gary Gamblin; parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survived by her three daughters, Brenda (Ronnie) Browning, Wytonia (Lynn) Wells and Peggy Tackett; son, Joseph (Brenda) Gamblin; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Gamblin; and two brothers, Warren (Rita) Barnes and David (Jackie) Gamblin.
Service to be held at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville on Friday at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Brad Payne officiating. Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Pallbearers will be Billy Tackett, Eric Wells, Joshua Browning, Jeff Crick, Matt Wells, Ian Wells, and Honorary Pallbearer is Jason Tackett.
