Alice Loretta (Payne) Clark

Alice Loretta Payne Clark, 71 of White Plains passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Baptist Health Hospital.  Born December 2, 1949, to the late Isaiah Payne and the late Coalene (Gamblin) Payne Cansler.  She loved the people of her church and was a very active member of Jesus Name Church in St. Charles.  She worked as a nurse aid and a medical tech, she spent several years at SuperX Drug Store in Madisonville as a pharmacy technician.  Alice enjoyed singing for her church and watching Hallmark movies.  She stayed busy taking care of everyone and helping her family in any way that she could.

Preceded in death by her husband, Gene Clark; son, David Gibson; sister, Patricia Lemons; and brother, Phyllis Payne.

Survived by her children, Karen (Michael) Long of White Plains, Tony (Joy) Gibson of Madisonville and Jennifer (Joseph) Rieker of Mortons Gap; 9 grandchildren, Krista Moore, Matthew Richardson, James Gibson, Eric Gibson, Donna Gibson, Leeanna Muncy, Rebecca Craig, Allisyn Sabo and Dylan Rieker; 12 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Barbara Hankins and Aquilla (Wayne) Johnson.

Services will be held Monday at 1:00 P.M. at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Brad Payne officiating.  Burial to follow at Shaw Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.  

Wearing a mask is mandated and social distancing is required for attendees.  Anyone that has tested positive for Covid-19, has a fever or signs/symptoms is requested not to attend.
