Betty Alice Offutt Berry, 75 of White Plains passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born August 2, 1950, to the late Roy Marvin and Betty Nell (Gower) Offutt. She was a member of Earlington Assembly of God; she worked for 30 years at K-Mart. Helping her family made Betty happy and brought her joy in life. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Berry; and 2 sisters, Sharon Skinner and Bonnie Qualls.
Survived by her daughter, Darlene (Gerry) Peters of White Plains; grandson, Chase (Jesse) Grundy of Colorado; siblings, Marvin (Donna) Offutt of Evansville, Dianna Oldham of Nortonville, Wilma (Thomas) Brooks of White Plains and Anthony (Faye) Offutt of Barnsley; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held Sunday at 2:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Pastor Johnny McCurry officiating. Burial to follow at Suthards Cemetery in Earlington. Visitation to begin at noon at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Chase Grundy, Gerry Peters, Marvin Offutt, Jason Robinson, Jeremy Hammack and Wesley Hutchinson.
