Bonna Olelaion Crick, 100, of Nortonville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at her home. Born September 17, 1920, to the late Henry Walter and Ammer (Browning) Lile of Nortonville. She has been a member of New Salem Baptist Church for 81 years and was the oldest member. Bonna loved her church and served by working as the custodian until the age of 92. She worked at Enro and retired from Carhartt after 24 years. She always had a caring and appreciative heart that made her easy to love.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Jesse Owen Crick; daughter, Brenda Groves; son-in-law, Norval Groves; infant brother, Henry L. Lile; and five sisters, Othine Gamblin, Bonnie Malue, Ovenion Forbes, Anner Lile and Sarah Crick.
Survived by her grandson, Anthony (Gina) Groves of Nortonville; 2 great-grandsons, Zachary Groves and A.J. Groves; 2 great-great-granddaughters, Ember Leigh and Harper Annalee Groves; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. at graveside. Pallbearers are Zachary Groves, A.J. Groves, Rodney Tebbetts, Tim Martin, Chet Cunningham, John Osborne and D.C. Belt.
