Brenda Kaye "Mammy" (Gamblin) Browning

Brenda Kaye Browning, 75 of Nortonville passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.  Born August 5, 1947, to the late Goldman and Kathleen (Thomas) Gamblin.  She was a member of New Abundant Life Fellowship church in Nortonville.  Always happy to help and care for the children in the family, she could often be found in the car-rider line school, or cheering on a grandchild at a ballgame, or at home offering up snacks to those that had stopped by.  Brenda loved and cherished her family and the time spent with them.  

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Earl Browning; son, Ronald "RJ" Browning; brother, Gary Gamblin; and sister, Wytonia Wells.

Survived by her daughter, Beverly (Jeffrey) Crick of Nortonville; 6 grandchildren, Joshua Browning, Le'Anna (Kyle) Compton, Logan (Delena) Browning, Halle Crick, Zayne Crick and Axl Crick; sister, Peggy Tackett of Providence; brother, Joseph (Brenda) Gamblin of Dawson Springs; and several nieces and nephews.  

Service will be held at noon Tuesday at New Abundant Life Fellowship in Nortonville with Bro. Brad Payne officiating.  Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville.  Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00pm - 6:30pm and Tuesday starting at 10:00am until service time at the church.  Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Crick, Kyle Compton, Syimone Baker, Ian Wells, Randy Benton White and Mike Payne.
