Bruce Wayne Falk, 70 of Hanson passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Born February 3, 1951, to the late James and Kathyrn (Trotter) Falk of Nortonville. He worked as a coal miner for Camp 1 and Patriot Coal in Union County until retirement and a UMWA District 23 member. Bruce was an avid and true University of Kentucky Wildcat Basketball fan. He was also a family man, always happy to spend time with his wife, children and extended family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Mendy Falk; brother, James Lynn Falk; and nephew, James Jeffery Falk.
Survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Delilah (Gamblin) Falk; two sons, Scott Falk of Florida and Derek Falk of North Carolina; sister, Teresa Oldham of Madisonville; niece, Tiffany Cummings; nephew, Brad Oldham; uncle, Edward (Helen) Back of Madisonville; and two cousins, Michael (Candy) Back and Larry Back.
Service will be held Wednesday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Brad Payne officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home.
