Cathy Elaine (Cansler) Pierce

Cathy Elaine Pierce, 69 of White Plains passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, at her home.  Born April 11, 1956, to the late Truman William and Myra Nell (Gilliland) Cansler.  She was a long-standing member of White Plains Missionary Baptist Church.  She had a talent for playing the piano and shared her talents with her church over the years.  Cathy will be missed by her cats at home.  Her family was a heart and soul in life; they are who brought her joy.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wayne Pierce; and sister, Nancy Grace.

Survived by her 2 sons, John (Danielle Denton) Pierce of Dixon and Kyle Pierce of White Plains; 3 grandchildren, Paige Denton, Gage Denton and Laken Pierce; brother, Stephen (Rosemary) Cansler of Graham; brother-in-law, Roger Grace of White Plains; sisters-in-law, Carol Hagan and Jennifer Pierce; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held Thursday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. J.D. Holt officiating.  Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains.  Visitation will begin at 11:00am until service hour at the funeral home.
