Chad Ray Alshire

Chad Ray Alshire, 48 of Nebo passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at his home after a battle with cancer.  Born October 23, 1975, to the late Harold “Butch” Alshire and to Sandra (Franklin) Alshire of Nebo.  He attended Abundant Grace Fellowship in Madisonville and he worked as a welder.  Chad loved to spend time with his family and being outdoors fishing or riding 4-wheelers.  

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his uncle, Ricky Franklin; grandmothers, Bertha Kenyon and Ella Franklin; and cousin, Stacy Poluga.

Survived by his children, Chadrick Alshire, Dillion Alshire, Devon Alshire and Mareyah Alshire; wife, Tina Alshire; mother, Sandra Alshire; and brother, Robert Alshire.

Service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday at Abundant Grace Fellowship in Madisonville with Pastor Karen Wix officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Suthards Cemetery in Earlington.  Visitation will begin at 11:00am at the church.  Pallbearers will be David Crook, Thomas Hickerson, Shawn Blanton, Jackie Franklin, Eric Kemble, Dillion Alshire and Devon Alshire.
