Cindy Jo (Stanley) Browning

Cindy Jo Browning, 60 of Nortonville passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, at Baptist Health Deaconess.  Born January 6, 1961, to the late Joe Kenneth Stanley and Mildred (Carlton) Stanley of Nortonville.  She worked as a cafeteria cook for Hopkins County Schools for 19 years and loved to attend Grace Life Church in Crofton.  Cindy enjoyed sitting on the front porch spending time with her family.  Always busy cooking for someone, birthday cake, carnival style foods, whatever anyone ask for.  

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Johnny Dunlap.

Survived by her husband of 43 years, Kenneth Browning; children, Selina Browning of Nortonville, Nathan Browning of Nortonville and Ashlee (Brad) Lee of White Plains; mother, Mildred Stanley of Nortonville; 7 grandchildren, Ethan Browning, Alex Browning, Braxton Browning, Calvin Browning, Caleb (Hannah) Lee, Chloe Lee and Caiden Lee; 2 great-grandchildren, Penelope Lee and a sweet bundle on the way; siblings, Kenneth (Stacie) Stanley of Nortonville, Kiwania Dunlap of White Plains and Gary (Lois) Stanley of Nortonville; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held Friday at 1:00p.m. at The River in Nortonville with Bro. Kris Page and Pastor Howard Jones officiating.  Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. at the church and on Friday after 11:00a.m. at the church.  Pallbearers will be Ethan Browning, Alex Browning, Braxton Browning, Calvin Browning, Caleb Lee and Caiden Lee.  Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Stanley, Nathan Browning and Brad Lee.
