Cletus "Pops" Vernon Williams, 62 of White Plains passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at his residence. Born March 14, 1963, to the late Kelley Wayne and Patsy (Eddings) Williams. He worked as a coal truck driver form many years and attended Assembly of God in Earlington. Cletus enjoyed going fishing and could often be found with a pool stick in hand at the pool hall. His family was his pride and joy in life, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Williams; and sisters, Dianna Crafton, Judy Stanley and Bessie Hunter.
Survived by his wife of 44 years, Connie (Brasher) Williams; 2 sons, Tony "Twink" (Amanda) Williams of White Plains, and Tim (Ashley) Williams of Nortonville; 6 grandchildren, Kolby (Lacy) Williams, Addey Williams, Macey Williams, Pennie Williams, Paislie Williams and Kash Williams; sister, Kathy (Clifton) Littlepage of White Plains; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held Tuesday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Johnnie McCurry. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will begin at 11:00am til service hour at the funeral home.
