David Ewin Bell, Jr.

David Ewin Bell, Jr., 81 of LaGrange passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Baptist Health East in Louisville.  Born January 11, 1944, to the late David Bell, Sr. and the late Erma (Browning) Moore Bell Lewis.  David served in the United States Army Reserves for two years.  He attended New Salem Baptist Church in Nortonville during his years in Nortonville.  He and his son has provided a Donut Ministry every Friday for the past couple of years to the local hospital and EMS in the LaGrange area.  David earned a Masters from University of Louisville for social work and worked in his field for many years.  He later became a plumber and was a member of the UA Local 502.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his half-brother, Billy Moore; and stepbrothers, Lastel Lewis and O'Neal Lewis.

Survived by his wife, Linda Allen Bell; son, Travis (Lina) Bell; and 2 grandsons, Ethan and Aiden Bell all of LaGrange.

Graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00pm at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating.
