David Eli Miller, 70 of Nortonville passed away Friday, May 31, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess. Born November 1, 1953, to the late James Ruffus and Mary Alice (Townsend) Miller. He worked at Austin Powder for 13 years and then as custodian for Southside Elementary School for over 14 years. David was always a UK Wildcats fan, win or lose he still needed to watch. He loved his children and grandchildren; always calling to check on them and keep up with everyone.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Whitfield.
Survived by his children, Shannon (Jason) Heltsley of Calhoun, David (Jessica Baldwin) Miller of Nortonville and Allison (Randal) Gamblin of White Plains; 8 grandchildren, Trenton Hayes, Cheyenne Compton, Kylie Miller, Ashton Heltsley, Eli Gamblin, Kayleigh Morgan, Conner Bosworth and Kya Baldwin; and 2 brothers, Jimmy (Sue) Miller of Virginia and Roger (Kim) Miller of Aurora, KY.
Service will be held Wednesday at 3:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Danny Earl officiating. Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
