Demple Dee (Oglesby) Hight

Demple Dee Hight, 74 of White Plains passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at her home.  Born August 7, 1948, to the late Clayton "Zip" and Bessie (Board) Oglesby.  She was a member of White Plains Methodist Church.  She worked as a cook throughout her career at Wal-Mart and then many years at Prairie Rose Cafe.  Demple enjoyed time at home and with her family, she could be found gardening, cooking, or doting on her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Billy Oglesby, Bruce Oglesby and infant Oliver Wayne Oglesby; and infant sister, Paul Ann Oglesby.

Survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Leeman Hight; sons, Brad (Tara) Hight of Nortonville and Brandon (Amber) Hight of White Plains; 3 grandchildren, Sage Hight, Brantley Hight and Delaney Hight; brothers, Daniel (Helen) Oglesby of Crofton and Greg (Donna) Oglesby of Crofton; sister-in-law, Catherine Oglesby of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Concord Baptist Church in White Plains.  Burial will be private for family at a later date at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
