Doris Gail (Phelps) Heflin

Doris Gail Heflin, 46 of Nortonville passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026.  Born January 11, 1980, to the late Robert and Erica (Ackermann) Phelps of Nortonville.  She enjoyed motorcycle rides with her husband and they liked to attend the Sturgis Rally together.  Doris was always willing to lend a helpful hand to anyone, especially her family and friends; they knew that she was dependable and would be there for them.  Doris adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Survived by her husband, James Heflin, Jr.; 3 children, Nick (Stella) Rickard of MO, Isabel Rickard, Ethan (Cheydon Shelton) Heflin of Princeton, Christina Marlow of Cadiz, Phillip Heflin and Nancy Heflin both of Marion; 9 grandchildren; sister, Esther (Herbert) Heckmann of Germany; brother, Robert Phelps of Nortonville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family will have a private service at a later date.
