Edith Odell (Smith) Farmer

Edith Odell Farmer, 89 of Nortonville passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at her residence.  Born December 12, 1936, to the late John Russell Smith and the late Clarice Jackson Smith of Nortonville.  She was a dedicated mother to her 3 children throughout her life.  Edith previously attended New Salem Baptist Church and participated in a TOPS group and was a member of the local Homemaker’s Group.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Farmer; son, Jeffrey Farmer; and daughter, Sandra Russellberg.

Survived by her son, Ricci Farmer of Nortonville.

Private family service is planned for a later date.
