Edwin Nathan Lacy, 60 of Dawson Springs passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, at Heartford Hospice House in Owensboro with his family at his side. Born June 26, 1965, to the late Charles Lacy and to Shirley (Whitfield) Lacy. Ed was a proud United States Army veteran, and he was a Honorary of Mission Church in Dawson Springs. He always enjoyed driving back roads and he liked to go fishing. His family was his pride and joy. Ed's most important job in life was being PapPap to his grandbabies.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Lora Lacy Dunkerson.
Survived by his wife, Kimberly (Winningham) Lacy; sons, Dakota Lacy of Dawson Springs and Talon (Megan) Lacy of St. Charles; 2 grandchildren, Meadow & Tegan Lacy; mother, Shirley Lacy; brother, Terri (Linda) Lacy of Franklin; and other extended family.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Living Word Christian Center in St. Charles. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm at the church.
Burial will follow at Gilland Ridge Cemetery in St. Charles.
