Eric Gene Travis

Eric Gene Travis, 54 of Madisonville passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess.  Born December 9, 1970, to the late Willard and Collette (Scott) Travis.  He worked for Wal-Mart Distribution and Carhartt for several years.  He enjoyed fishing and the band Chicago and was a vintage truck and car enthusiast to name a few of his hobbies.  Eric had a love for model trains and a talent for building scenes to scale with great detail.  His greatest job in life was being "Pops" for his grandchildren.

Survived by his beloved wife, Malena (Ware) Travis; 4 children, Scott (Michale) Partee of Madisonville, Cory Partee of Madisonville, Brandon Partee of Madisonville and Carleigh Partee of Bowling Green; and 4 grandchildren, Charlotte Partee, McKenleigh Thomason, Brantley Thomason and Paisley Reece.

Service will be held Thursday at 1:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Lee Davis officiating.  Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will begin at 11:00am until service time at the funeral home.
