Erik Lee Putman

Erik Lee Putman, 23 of Nortonville passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023.  Born February 23, 2000, to Ronnie and Sherry (Williams) Putman of Nortonville.  He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Nortonville and was employed by Pollard & Sons Excavating.  Erik enjoyed spending time with his many friends while they were out duck hunting, hunting, or just hanging out together.  He liked going out on the boat fishing with his brother.  He enjoyed time on the farm with his dad working, but he was a momma's boy too.  His brother and sister were also aware, that according to Erik, he was the prettiest of the family.  He always made time for his nieces and nephew, he loved them dearly.  Erik will be greatly missed by many, but he left them with a memory that will always bring a smile.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond & Mary Lois Putman and James & Faye Williams; and aunt, Sharon Brashears.

Survived by his parents, Ronnie & Sherry Putman of Nortonville; sister, Paige Miller of Nortonville; brother, Aaron Putman of Nortonville; nieces, Marley Miller, Macy Miller and Ainsley Putman; nephew, Oakley Putman; several aunts & uncles; and many cousins and friends.

Service will be held Monday at 1:00pm at New Salem Baptist Church in Nortonville with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating.  Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nortonville.  Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00pm - 7:00pm and Monday from 11:00am - 1:00pm at the church.  Pallbearers will be Lester Putman, Drew Putman, Kevin Cobb, Kolby Williams, Tyler Dunlap, Earl Putman, Andy Putman, Chris Cummings and Holden Whitaker.
