Ernest Earl Young

Ernest Earl Young, 84 of Slaughters passed away September 11, 2022, at Dawson Springs Health & Rehab.  Born July 10, 1938, to the late Ernest and Lillian (Ashby) Young.  He worked for Willie Mills machine shop as a welder and a machinist for many years.  He enjoyed camping, fishing and squirrel hunting during his free time. 

Preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Willie Todd and Ruth Galloway; and brother James Young.

Survived by his children, Kathy (Danny) Daniels of Madisonville, Ronnie (Jennifer) Young of Dawson Springs and Earl Young of Madisonville; brother, Buddy Young; 10 grandchildren, Christopher Young, Ronnie Young, Jr., Tabatha Whitis, Danny Daniels, Jr., Jeremy Young, Elizabeth Young, Steven Young, Michael Young, Kristi Wilson and Faith Young; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Service will be private for family at a later date.
