Freda Kaye (Hicks) DeMilt

Freda Kaye DeMilt, 72 of Crofton passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess.  Born September 10,1952, to the late William and Monetta (Rodgers) Hicks.  She enjoyed planting flowers with her grandchildren.  Freda also enjoyed spending time and talking with her family, friends and neighbors.  

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew DeMilt; daughter, Tracey Brasher Adamson: son-in-law, Jerry Adamson; and sister, Sandy Taliaferro.

Survived by her daughter, Lori Ezell; grandchildren, Cassie Baker, Lexsey Bernal, Abby Adamson and Khloe Adamson; great-grandchildren, Riley Ezell, Karleigh Camplin, Karson Camplin and Klayton Williams; great-great-grandchild, Ivy Lou Combs; and 3 brothers, Jerry Hicks, Billy White and Mike Baker.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 2:00pm at Hamby Cemetery on New Salem Circle (also known by some as Furgerson Cemetery).
