Gayle Thomas Wells

Gayle Thomas Wells, 72, of Hanson passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess. Born November 26, 1949, to the late William and Carmen (Gamblin) Wells. He was a self-employed bricklayer for 50 years.  He enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Lynn Wells and Douglas Wells.

Survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Davis Wells; sister, Joyce Hall; 3 daughters: Sherry Adamson, Cathey (Billy) Jones and Miranda Wells; 8 grandchildren, Amanda (Lee) Gray, Jonathan Stanley, Cody Tirey, Hunter Carter, Jesse Jones, Caleb Wells, Katelyn Jones and Ryan Jones; 9 great-grandchildren, Ethan Gray, Trysten Minton, Cason Tirey, Cara Tirey, Cali Tirey, Raylen Tate, Jayden Stanley, Cyrus Tate and Drake Jones.

Service will be held Sunday at 3:00pm at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville with Bro. Chris Marks officiating.  Burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville.  Visitation will begin at 12:00pm (noon) at the funeral home.  Pallbearers are: Billy Jones, Lee Gray, Cody Tirey, Jesse Jones, Jody Masoncup, Randall Word and Matt Wells.
